Weekend Workshop

Our once-a-month Weekend Workshops are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection through hands-on, themed learning experiences.

Students explore engaging topics through interactive stations, challenges, and collaborative activities—leaving with a unique project that reflects their learning and imagination.

 

Who Can Attend:
Open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade—no enrollment at Kipe Academy required. 

Open to both traditional and homeschooling families

 

Time: 

9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Drop-off begins at 8:50 a.m.)

Pick-up is at 11:00 a.m.

 

Location: 

1800 Cypress Gardens Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33884 

(Entrance on DeSoto Road)

 

Cost:
$20 per child, per session

Registration & Payment

• Pre-registration and prepayment are required

• Spots are limited to 16 students

• Payment secures your child’s spot

Payment Options:

• PayPal: (processing fee applies)

• EMA Portal: (Step Up families): Reserve a $20 part-time tutoring session

All payments are non-refundable.

 Your child’s spot is not secured until payment is received.

Important Expectations

Workshops are short and structured to maximize learning time.

• Workshops begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.

• Students should arrive on time and stay for the full session

• Late arrivals may miss key instructions or activities

Pick-Up: 11:00 a.m.
A $1 per minute late fee applies after 11:05 a.m.

Materials & Deadlines

To ensure all materials are prepared:

• Registration and payment must be completed by the Wednesday prior

Late registrations may be accepted if space allows.
Alternative materials or activities may be provided if original supplies are no longer available.

• Parents may drop off or wait downstairs

• If arriving after 9:00 a.m., please text 863-225-3418 for entry

• Workshops are capped at 16 students.

Because workshops are only two hours long, being on time is essential to ensure a full, uninterrupted experience for all students.

• Workshops begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.

• We ask that all participants arrive on time and remain for the full session.

• Late arrivals may miss key instructions or activities, and we are unable to extend workshop time for late starts.

These expectations help us honor learning time for every child.

• Our building is located at 1800 Cypress Gardens Blvd., but the entrance is on DeSoto Road, not the main road. Please turn onto DeSoto Rd. to access the drop-off area.
