Weekend Workshop

​​​​Our once-a-month Weekend Workshops offer hands-on exploration and creative, theme-based activities designed to spark curiosity and collaboration. Each child will bring home a unique project that showcases their learning and imagination.

 

Who Can Attend:
Open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade—no enrollment at Kipe Academy required.

 

Cost:
$20 per child, per session

 

Payment:

• PayPal: $20 per child (be sure to include the PayPal processing fee)

• EMA Portal (Step Up families): Reserve a $20 part-time tutoring session

Please note: All payments are non-refundable. Your child’s spot is not secured until payment is received.

🕘 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Drop-off begins at 8:50 a.m.)
🚗 Pick-up is at 11:00 a.m. A $1 per minute late fee applies after 11:05 a.m.

 

Enrollment Deadline & Supplies

To ensure we have the appropriate materials prepared, registration and payment must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the workshop.

Late registrations may be accepted on a limited basis. Families interested in registering after the Wednesday deadline must contact us in advance. If space is available, we may confirm participation; however, students who register late may complete an alternative activity if original materials are no longer available.

Attendance & Timeliness Expectations

Because workshops are only two hours long, being on time is essential to ensure a full, uninterrupted experience for all students.

• Workshops begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.

• We ask that all participants arrive on time and remain for the full session.

• Late arrivals may miss key instructions or activities, and we are unable to extend workshop time for late starts.

These expectations help us honor learning time for every child.

Additional Details:

• Preregistration and prepayment are required to attend.

• Workshops are capped at 16 students.

• Parents may drop off or wait downstairs during the workshop.

Location Tips:

• Our building is located at 1800 Cypress Gardens Blvd., but the entrance is on DeSoto Road, not the main road. Please turn onto DeSoto Rd. to access the drop-off area.

• If you arrive after 9:00 a.m., please text 863-225-3418 so we can meet your child at the door. Please note that late arrivals require us to pause instruction and step away from the workshop to escort students inside, which impacts learning time for the entire group.
