Kipe Academy is Hiring a Middle School Teacher

We’re preparing for our 2026–2027 school year expansion, and we’re looking for the right educator to join our team.

​

Kipe Academy is a nonprofit microschool in Winter Haven, Florida that thrives on flexibility, creativity, and innovation. This role is not a traditional public school teaching position. Under Florida law, this position is classified as private tutoring within a microschool model, which allows for personalized, student-centered instruction.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an educator who is:

• Willing to learn and practice Conscious Discipline

• Comfortable teaching multi-age groups with students at varying academic levels

• Excited to design engaging HOT Topic Units that connect across subjects and across the campus

• Flexible with our unique schedule:

-Morning academics

-Afternoon enrichment, which includes teaching and planning rotating technology-based projects (enrichment classes rotate every two weeks)

• Committed to providing all available accommodations to support student success

• Open, reflective, and communicative with families — we deeply value parent partnership
