Volunteers at Kipe Academy
At Kipe Academy, meaningful learning happens through partnership — and volunteers are an important part of our community. We welcome families and community members to support student growth, school events, and daily operations in ways that reflect our shared values of inspiration, empowerment, and mutual support.
Family involvement is a key part of the KA community, and volunteering offers many ways to partner with us in supporting learners and enriching our school environment.

Screening and Safety
To ensure a safe and trusted learning environment for our students, all volunteers and chaperones must complete a Level 2 background check through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. This screening includes fingerprinting and state/federal records checks and is required by Florida law for all volunteers who work with students.
Volunteers are responsible for covering the background check fee. Once the results are received and approved, you will be notified and can begin volunteering.

Volunteers receive a Kipe Academy volunteer badge and are asked to sign in on arrival and sign out upon departure.​
Volunteer Opportunities
Families and community members may support Kipe Academy in a variety of roles, including:
Arrival and Dismissal
Additional supervision can help make arrival and dismissal time run smoothly and safely.
Classroom Assistance
Working with teachers to support classroom needs and enhance student learning.
Maintenance
Volunteers can replace lightbulbs, paint, repair items, repair building interior, build furniture, or any other maintenance issue that may arise.
Beautification
Volunteers are needed to help keep our campus clean. This will include cleaning the bathrooms, lobby, hallways, dining room, and classroom area.
Field Trips
Volunteers can help coordinate field trips related to our HOT Topic Themes.
School Activities
Volunteers will help set up, break down, and clean for school events hosted on and off campus.
